We are  Louisiana Code Blue Band aka Leonard Palmisano & Friends, and aka La Code Blue, a combination of electric and acoustic rock and blues songs .  All members live in the State of Louisiana.  The band began in the late 1990's and has produced several albums of original songs in the classic rock, blues and pop genres under the title of Leonard Palmisano & Friends .   Our last CD was entitled Leonard Palmisano & Friends V with special guest Sasha Masakowski and session drummer Ed Billeaud of Louisiana.  We have performed live on WWL TV in New Orleans, House of Blues NOLA, and Tipitinas along with various venues in the State of Louisiana including WWOZ radio.  We blend these genres into a  performance that is as original, as it is authentic.  We have a mixture of Louisiana musicians we use based on the venue and needs for the performance.  We endeavor to help promising music students sit in with us on gigs for purposes of music education and contribute to their experience to play music at professional events.  At a recent gig in July 2026 on a Magazinst st. venue, a 12 yr old guitar student of mine sat in with the band on 3 songs and it is thrilling to see such young talent come along. We also have had occasional guest singers such as Sasha Masakowski and Kayla Woodson, who are renowned performers in their own right, have contributed to both gigs and albums.   Our current full time members include the founder Leonard on Guitar, Ron on Bass, Stephen on Guitar, Tracy on drums,  and several part time members from the Loyola school of music, which include Nikolai on Piano, Ella as our singer, and Saige on drums.  This website is dedicated to four members of the band who died in recent years including Marylou, Ashton, Harvey and Frank.  All music on this website, where noted, is written and copyrighted by Leonard, our guitarist, and used with his permission.
